Hi friends,

Today, i will be telling you about a story titled "why snakes eat rat". It's a fictional story i wrote on my own and I'm sharing it today. Please read, and enjoy. let' go:

 SNAKES EAT RATS

                              WHY SNAKES EAT RAT.

 LONG AGO, snakes and rats were very good friends they loved each other and never wished to fight. One-day rat decided to come and visit his best friend {of course snake}. When he was about to enter the house, snake came out first and blocked the way to the door.

     Then rat asked snake “please snake my friend why are you blocking the way to the door?” he said in a tiny voice as he had. Then in an angry tone, snake replied “I thought you were my best trusted friend”.

      Then rat replied in a very surprised tone saying “snake my friend what do you mean” then snake replied saying “oh now you want to play innocent” so rat replied “oh snake what do you mean by I’m playing innocent”.

      Then snake said “okay then since you’ll keep on pretending I’ll spill the beans. Well, a bird friend of mine told me that you have a best friend aside from me. Hmm but I really thought I could trust a rat friend like you but no!! I guess I have to keep friends as big as me just like my friend eagle”.

      Then rat horridly grabbed to reply saying “oh snake I can’t believe that you let eagle deceive you like this and aside from that, you do know that I am a worthy trusted friend who will never betray a friend” he said while he came closer to snake.

       Then suddenly, snake used his rough tail to push rat aside and started to insult him. While eagle soared through the sky that morning and watched how rat and snake’s friendship destroyed gradually.

       In the afternoon, eagle passed by again and saw rat and snake fighting instead of quarrelling so eagle liked his beak and said “oh my dinner’s soon ready” then he laughed in an evil way.

     It was soon evening when eagle came with an apron on his neck and sat on a tree trunk and waited for the both friends to get weak. When it was evening, eagle realized that they were now tired after fighting almost for a whole day. So eagle thought it was time to make his move.

     When rat noticed that eagle was about to dive into them, he tried to drag snake to safety but snake bit him with his dangerous venom so rat used his remaining energy to run for his life.

       Snake turned back, and noticed that eagle was about to dive into him so he tried to run into his house but unfortunately before he could reach the door, eagle used his sharp claws to pick him up, threw him into the air, and swallowed him in one gulp. Eagle was so full he could hardly fly back to his nest so he fell to the floor and fell asleep.

       Well, unfortunately, rat died of the venom while eagle got unconscious because he too full for his stomach to contain. so he died. Before snake died, all that was on his head was that rat betrayed him so that is why snakes eat rat till today.                               THE END.
